| Description | We want to invite you to participate in the Fourth Annual Black-Owned Business Excellence Symposium taking place on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. This is a full-day hybrid conference (virtual or in-person) to celebrate, educate, and inspire Black business owners and kick off Black History Month in the State of Washington. All are welcome at this event!
This event is being planned by Black-Owned Business Excellence (BOBE), which is a collaboration of different organizations and individuals coming together to create a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Washington State.
The symposium will include keynote panels and breakout sessions on a variety of topics including financing, marketing, and operating a business. There are limited number of in-person tickets, but there are also free virtual tickets for those that would like to attend remotely.
Register for the BOBE Symposium through this EventBrite link. The virtual event is free of charge, while the in-person event has a fee of $15. Scholarships are available for those who might benefit from having the registration fee waived; email L2B@spl.org for details.
Washington registered businesses that apply before January 23, have an opportunity to be awarded one of five (5) $1000 Grants, being offered by Black-Owned Business Excellence! |
