Summary | Hear insights from 12 teens as they share their stories and how they see themselves reflected in the Unspoken Truths of American History. |

Description | Under the tutelage of second-generation storyteller Mr. Delbert Richardson, youth (ages 13-18) have created stories based on Richardson's award-winning Unspoken Truths American History Traveling Museum.
Participating youth developed storytelling and leadership skills as they researched, created, and shared their stories that showcase American history, pride, resiliency and joy in a paid internship program this summer. Now they are ready to share their stories and insights with the general public and discuss how they see themselves reflected in American history.
This program is presented by The Unspoken Truths, in partnership with The Seattle Public Library and was funded by The Seattle Public Library Foundation. Shunpike is the fiscal sponsor of The Unspoken Truths.
This program will be recorded and posted to the Library's YouTube page. |
