SummaryThe Seattle Mandolin Orchestra presents 'Americana', a celebration of classic and contemporary music written by American composers.
DescriptionIn the early 1900s, the City of Seattle had six mandolin orchestras!  Today, there is just one.  Featuring mandolin, mandola, mandocello, bass and guitar players from around the region, this program celebrates the debut of three arrangements by local artists as well as a hundred years of suffrage.  This blend of ragtime, blues, swing, and modern music is sure to have something for everyone!
