DescriptionThis one hour-long presentation (with a 20-30 minute audience Q+A) includes a discussion of artist-author T Edward Bak’s cartooning process, and a survey of comics informed by Mr. Bak’s travels and historical, cultural, and ecological research undertaken for his latest works: NOT A PLACE TO VISIT - a new collection of illustrated essay comics exploring themes of social and ecological flux unique to environments in the western US, and the serialized graphic novel project WILD MAN - or, The Natural History of Georg Wilhelm Steller.
