SummaryLearn how to create your own insects using various paper-crafting techniques that will be ready to decorate your window all summer long!
DescriptionCreate your own insects (a variety of choices will be offered) using various paper-crafting techniques, mostly quilling techniques. Take home your own insect at the end of the program ready to be placed in a window as a window/sunlight catcher.  This program is led by Emily Mallory, of Emily’s Paperworks.  For ages 9-12 and 13+.

This program is part of this year’s Summer of Learning program Explore Your World!, which encourages reading and activities around science, technology, technology, arts and math. We are offering over 250 free youth programs throughout the city this summer. You can pick up a Summer Action Guide at any Library location beginning June 24.
NotesLibrary events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
