DescriptionInspired by Seattle Reads: The Best We Could Do, this hands-on workshop will help you tell your own story through a graphic format.



Mita Mahato is a Seattle-based cut paper, collage, and comix artist whose work focuses on lost, discarded, and disappeared objects and animals. She is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Puget Sound, serves on the board for Short Run Seattle, and is a teaching artist with the Henry Art Gallery.



This event is presented in partnership with Wing Luke Museum and Asian Counseling and Referral Services, and is supported by The Seattle Public Library Foundation and The Wallace Foundation, with additional support from media sponsors The Seattle Times and KUOW 94.9 Public Radio.
