Laura Da’ is a poet and a public school teacher. A lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest, Da’ studied creative writing at the University of Washington and The Institute of American Indian Arts. "Tributaries," her poetry collection, won the 2016 American Book Award from the Before Columbus Foundation and was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award.

This Seattle Writes class also ties into Bird Week (April 23-28, 2018) Bird Week activities and resources.
Class NotesLibrary events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Bring a laptop or pen and paper -- and be ready to write!
