SummaryThe first total solar eclipse in 26 years will cross the U.S.A. on August 21. In Seattle, more than 95% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon passing in front of it.
DescriptionJoin librarians Kay and Rachel to learn when the eclipse will occur, how to view it safely and to participate in fun eclipse activities. For ages 5 and up.

This program is part of the Library's 2017 Summer of Learning program, Blast Off to Space! The Library is offering hundreds of free programs and activities for children and teens to keep youth engaged in reading and learning all summer long.
NotesLibrary events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
