DescriptionJoin us to hear the personal stories and perspectives of local women who have led the way in breaking barriers for female workers in the trades in Washington State. We will hear from women across several generations including Georgie Kunkel, who worked in the Boeing bomber plant in Chehalis during WWII.

Lynne Dodson, Secretary Treasurer of the Washington State Labor Council, will moderate the program, which will also include a presentation of a photographic portrait series of local tradeswomen by Bettina Hansen, Seattle Times staff photographer.
NotesLibrary events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
