SummaryJoin Claudia Castro Luna Seattle's Civic Poet for a series of poetic explorations about your neighborhood. Come read, talk and write poetry inspired by your corner of the city.
DescriptionThe Neighborhood We Remember- Whether you have lived in your corner of the city all of your life or just moved here, what are the things you remember? What was it like growing up in this city? What did you like? What do you miss? If you just moved, what was your first week in your neighborhood like? This week, we will take off on our poetic exploration looking at historic photographs.

These are low-key sessions. No previous poetry writing experience necessary. Poems are all around us, in tree branches, at the bus stop, I the supermarket checkout line. Everyone has a story to tell about the place they live in. Come and share yours! Tell us what you see, hear and feel as you go about your day.
Class NotesLibrary events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
