DescriptionAn Evening of Poetry is a quarterly series for fresh voices in the local poetry scene.

Sandra Noel works as a free-lance illustrator, graphic designer and interpretive writer developing award-winning environmental education posters, brochures, exhibits and interpretive signs. She also contributes her artistic design skills as a volunteer for Alliance for Tompotika, a non-profit conservation organization working in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Her poems have appeared in Paradigm, Barnwood International Poetry Magazine, Protest Poems, Buddhist Poetry Review, Outside In Literary and Travel Magazine and Elohi Gadugi Journal and others and a chapbook entitled, "The Gypsy in my Kitchen," published by Finishing Line Press, 2015.

Charles Leggett is a professional actor based in Seattle. Pacific NW publication credits include The Floating Bridge Review, The Raven Chronicles, FRIGG: A Magazine of Fiction and Poetry, Barnwood International Poetry Magazine, Clover: A Literary Rag and Cirque. He will appear in the Strawberry Theatre Workshop's production of Proof in January and at the Seattle Children's Theatre in the stage adaptation of the Irish film Into the West in February.

Laura W. Allen is a visual artist and writer living in Seattle. Her educational life has included Stetson University (for English Lit,) U of North Texas (for Fine Art,) and numerous professional development programs around the country. Her visual work has been shown in numerous national exhibitions, and her writing has appeared in a diverse range of publications including s/tick, Glitterpony, and Pontoon. She teaches creative writing and visual art...simultaneously, as often as she can.
